BlueScope Youth Orchestra partner with the Wollongong Salvation Army Brass Band for the 2022 Red Shield Appeal concert.
A tradition which began over 20 years ago, the community concert raises much needed funds for the region, in particular for The First Floor Program a community based drug and alcohol support service, and the Carinya Women and Children service which provides crisis accommodation for women and children.
Conducted by Nigel Edwards, the BlueScope Youth Orchestra will play a selection of film music, including Harry Potter, Star Wars, James Bond, La La Land, Beauty and the Beast and Pirates of the Caribbean.
The Wollongong Salvation Army Brass Band, conducted by Joe McIver will present a mix of traditional marches, big band, and reflective pieces for the concert.
Tickets available at the door on the night: $5 Child/concession – $15 Adult.
