Junior Strings Spectacular

Event Details
Wondering how our Junior Strings players have improved over the year? Join us for our Junior Strings Spectacular concert.

The Junior Strings Spectacular provides our young students a formal performance opportunity, and to further grow their musical community throughout the region.

A free workshop during the day (9-3pm) for participating students will culminate with this performance (4:30-5:30pm) at the St Marys Star of the Sea College Hall on Sunday 3rd December.

The junior strings program continues to be a great success during its second year at WollCon, with students building a strong community in and outside of the ensembles. Our 2023 resident artists, the Enigma Quartet, have been an invaluable resource to our students and all of our efforts will culminate in the Junior String Spectacular performance.

“The students have had a packed year full of workshops, performances, and solo performances, and even chamber music. We are so excited this year to be welcoming other regional NSW junior string programs from the Southern Highlands, the Shoalhaven, and Merimbula! I hope that everyone can come out and support our amazing juniors and celebrate all they have accomplished this year.”
