Join us at Gleniffer Brae for end of year performances from our students and staff at WollCon.
An opportunity for music students to perform publically to a larger audience, for their friends and families.
WollCon’s Annual Concerto Competition (starting at 10am) will also be held during this Performance Day.
In this competition students enrolled at WollCon will compete for $1000 in prize money. Participants will perform one movement of a concerto or piece for solo instrument and orchestra, will be assessed by our guest adjudicator – Melissa Barnard of the ACO – and the winner announced on the day.
SCHEDULE
9:30am–12:30 – DML Theatre – Piano Performances
10am-11:30 – Auditorium – Concerto Compt: Winner announced soon after.
12:30-1:30 – Auditorium – Chamber Music Ensembles.
2pm-4pm – Single Storey Room 1 – Guitar Performances
2-3pm – DML Orchestra Room – ChiME Graduation
2-5pm – Auditorium – Vocal Performances
The public is welcome and encouraged to attend this free event. No prebooking to be part of the audience is required.
