From classical to whimsical – an eclectic evening of community music.
Presented by WollCon’s Five Islands Strings Orchestra (FISO), The Revellers, and the Guitar Ensemble this concert is a must see for anyone who is interested in community music groups.
FISO is for violin, viola, cello, and bass players aged 18 and over who are looking to strengthen their ensemble skills while connecting with other developing adult string players in the community.
The Guitar Ensemble provides students with the opportunity to learn to read music and understand the tools a guitarist needs to be able to play a variety of styles.
While the Revellers is a recorder ensemble where participants learn at a steady pace and are also encouraged to explore improvisation. Judging from the photo below they have a lot of fun at rehearsals.
