Congratulations to Annabel Wouters – our 2023 WollCon Concerto winner.
During our final Performance Day for 2023 (10th December) we showcased the musical achievements of advanced students with our 2023 Concerto Competition.
In this annual competition students enrolled at WollCon competed for $1000 in prize money.
We were thrilled to have Melissa Barnard of the ACO attend as our Adjudicator for the day, who selected flute student Annabel Wouters as the winner of the 2023 concerto competition.
It is the first time a flute player has won the competition.
Annabel played the Fantaisie brilliante on Carmen by Borne.
