Positive Change Through Music
Make Music Day
Make Music Day is a worldwide celebration of music held annually on 21 June, inspired by the international Fête de la Musique movement. Taking place in thousands of cities across the globe, the event encourages people of all ages and abilities to make, perform and enjoy music in public spaces, with free performances and activities open to everyone.
WollCon is proud to participate in this international celebration by presenting a day of performances, workshops and community music-making featuring our students, ensembles and community musicians. From orchestras and concert bands to choirs, contemporary groups and collaborative projects, the day reflects the breadth of musical opportunities available at WollCon.
Make Music Day is a celebration of music’s ability to bring people together. Whether you’re performing, participating or simply stopping to listen, the event invites the whole community to experience the joy of live music in welcoming and accessible spaces.
