Guitar.
What genres do you teach?
I teach all aspects of guitar playing, such as technique, theory, repertoire, eartraining, etc., that ultimately enable the student to improvise within a harmonic context.
What is it that you love about teaching music – particularly at Wollongong Conservatorium?
I love that there is always more to discover in music and that teaching is part of that exploration.
Please share a particular career highlight and why it’s special to you.
Every time I pick up the guitar and learn something new is a career highlight to me.
What’s one piece of music that you’d recommend people listen to?
Listen to as much as you can of everything.
