What do you teach at the Con?
Cello.
What is it that you love about teaching music – particularly at Wollongong Conservatorium?
I love seeing students’ excitement when they learn the cello, or the ‘light bulb’ moment when they have finally understood or have mastered a particular technique. These are very rewarding moments.
What’s one piece of music that you’d recommend people listen to?
Nothing beats Yo-Yo Ma’s Bach Suites!
