Piano.
What is it that you love about teaching music – particularly at Wollongong Conservatorium?
I love working with students from a variety of backgrounds to inspire them to reach their personal potential and become the best musician they can be. I love seeing students enjoy their music and feeling a sense of accomplishment when they’ve worked hard and developed new skills. Wollongong Conservatorium is an inspiring place to work. It is aesthetically beautiful with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
Please share a particular career highlight and why it’s special to you.
I’m not sure I could name one particular highlight. The experiences that have been most special to me would be travelling and performing with good friends. I find this connection inspirational both during rehearsals and onstage and I think this enjoyment resonates with audiences as well.
