For Public Education Week (4-8th August 2025) we celebrated music achievements with students participating in WollCon’s In-School program (bands and classroom music lessons).
School bands and music students from Windang, Mount St Thomas, Nareena Hills, Mt Brown and Lindsay Park, showcased their talents with vibrant and free performances throughout the week.
Parents, family and friends attended the concerts and acknowledged the theme of Public Education Week: Ignite your potential.
Performances were at Mt St Thomas & Lindsay Park, Nareena Hills, Windang and Mt Brown Public Schools.
Some photos from the week are posted on our FACEBOOK page.
WollCon’s In-School Music program is proud to be part of NSW public education. We currently partner with over 15 schools, delivering high-quality band and classroom music lessons, that aligns with the NSW Department of Education Syllabus outcomes and adheres to NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority) teaching standards.
If your child is at a primary or high school that currently doesn’t offer music education by qualified educators from WollCon, read our new InSchool Prospectus which is now available online. The document will help principals make an informed decision on how to offer music education to their pupils, the costs involved and why it is beneficial.
Thank you to all our music teachers involved in the In-School Program. 🙏 🎻🎶😊
