WollCon Joins Global Celebration for Make Music Day – June 21
Wollongong Conservatorium of Music was proud to be part of Make Music Day Australia – a joyous, free celebration of music that takes place in over 1,000 cities and towns across the globe.
Originating over 40 years ago as a national day of music in France, known as Fete de la Musique, this global phenomenon has people from all walks of life coming together in music making.
On 21st June, Make Music Day came to life again across Australia and the rest of the world. As usual WollCon offered a day of free outdoor performances in the mall supported by the Wollongong City Council.
