Please share a particular career highlight and why it’s special to you.

My career highlight is getting to my 20th year of developing and running the jazz program and seeing the difference it’s made at the national and international level with so many of my former students making their mark on the world-wide jazz scene.

What’s one piece of music that you’d recommend people listen to?

“Blue in Green” from Miles Davis album “Kind of Blue” by Bill Evans defies classification and is timeless and one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever recorded.
