Join us for the ‘All Things Voice’ Discovery Afternoon

WollCon Voice Students, Participants and members of the general public are welcome to join the “All Things Voice” Discovery Afternoon on Sunday 29th May from 12-2:30pm.

With a mixture of workshops, presentations & masterclasses, participants will gain practical advice on a number of aspects of singing and performing including:  the importance of breath; how to confidently deliver a song; and how to combine singing and guitar self-accompaniment.

THE SCHEDULE (12 pm – 2:30 pm):

12:00 – WELCOME

12:05 – Performance by The Melodettes (Bella Halakatevakis and James Tebbutt)

12:10 – Workshop by Jesse Cleale – “Who Am I”?! Creating characters and loving the song

12:30 – Presentation by Kirsten Jones – “Go With the Flow” – the ins and outs of breath in song

12:50 – Performance by The Hummingbirds:
Sing Sing Sing, Sunday Kind of Love, Little Hummingbird

1:00 – Behind the Scenes with WollCon Children’s Choir and FlameTree Project. 

1:15 – Masterclass by Trish Delaney-Brown  “But what do I do with my hands”? Building confidence in performance.

1:35    Sneak Peek: WollCon Chamber Group.

1:45 – Presentation by Glenn Whitehall  “Going Solo: voice and performance tips for the solo singer/guitarist” 

2:05 – Performance by Community Choir – The Conchords
Trickle Trickle, Fly Me To the Moon, Jesus is on the Mainline
