Have you always wanted to learn how to play the Ukelele? Or can you already play and want to jam with other players?
We’re looking for expressions of interest to start Thursday morning classes for adults at WollCon, starting Term 4 (the week of Monday 13th October) and we are offering our special community rate for participants ($105/term).
If this is something you’d like to explore just email us ([email protected]) with your expression of interest and let us know if you are beginner, have some experience playing ukelele, and if you own your own ukelele or would need to borrow one.
JAZZ
If Jazz is more your thing we are looking at scheduling an adult’s Tuesday class at 2pm starting in Term 4 (same community rate), with our Jazz Program Lead David Rodriguez-Lovibond.
Let us know what instrument you play and your level of expertise, and we’ll group you accordingly.
It could be guitar, drums, bass, saxophone or your voice!
SINGING
Or if singing is more your thing ,what about a singing circle on Thursdays with Heidi Piper?
We are inviting women of all ages and stages to a welcoming and inclusive circle of community and singing. Whether you’ve not sung in choir since school, are a choir regular or just love to sing in the shower, this is a group for all abilities and experiences.
AND Mummas…your bubbas are welcome too! We will provide a comfy space for them to sit / lie / dance while we sing. Please note…this choir is for YOU…but your bubbas will also benefit from being immersed in the beauty and power of music.
Suggested session time: 9:30 – 10:30am
Happy to hear other ideas for adult classes between 9-3pm Monday through to Thursday.
All suggestions considered – email us at [email protected]
